The Six Principles of Regenerative Agriculture: Building Resilient Farms from the Ground Up

1. Diversity

2. Minimise Soil Disturbance

Protecting the soil surface also improves the land's ability to absorb water, reducing runoff during increasingly unpredictable weather events.

5. Integrate Livestock

Livestock play an important role in many regenerative systems.

Well-managed grazing encourages nutrient cycling, stimulates plant growth and contributes organic matter back into the soil. Rotational grazing can improve pasture utilisation while allowing adequate recovery periods for plants.
