Buitelaar Pet Team Reflects on a Successful Interzoo 2026
One week on from Interzoo 2026, the Buitelaar Pet team has been reflecting on what was a hugely successful and rewarding week at one of the pet industry’s leading global events.
Held in Nuremberg, Germany, Interzoo once again brought together innovators, manufacturers, suppliers and brands from across the international pet food and pet care sectors. For Buitelaar Pet, the exhibition provided an important platform to reconnect with long-standing partners, strengthen existing relationships and open the door to exciting new opportunities across global markets.
The week began with a team activity on Monday before welcoming customers, suppliers and industry partners to a special evening event on Tuesday. Throughout the exhibition, the Buitelaar stand welcomed a steady flow of visitors from across Europe and beyond, creating valuable conversations around pet nutrition, sustainable sourcing, ingredient innovation and future market trends.
One of the highlights of the week came on Wednesday with the team’s “Split the B” challenge alongside Waffles, bringing some fun and energy to an already busy and positive few days.
As a business, Buitelaar Group continues to focus on delivering high-quality pet food solutions across raw, dried, wet and premium cooked markets, alongside natural pet treats and responsibly sourced ingredients. The group’s fully integrated supply chain, ability to source unique and bespoke protein solutions, and commitment to circular systems remain key differentiators within the industry.
Sustainability and regenerative agriculture also remain central to the wider Buitelaar Group vision. Through initiatives such as Project Regen, the business continues to work closely with farmers and supply chain partners to drive positive environmental impact, improve traceability and support the future of sustainable food production for both people and pets.
Events such as Interzoo provide an invaluable opportunity to share these developments with industry partners while learning from others across the sector. The conversations held throughout the week reinforced the growing importance of transparency, innovation and collaboration in shaping the future of pet nutrition.
The Buitelaar Pet team would like to thank everyone who visited the stand, attended the events and took the time to connect throughout the week. The business is proud to be part of such a forward-thinking and collaborative industry and looks forward to continuing those conversations in the months ahead.
