Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a General Farm Worker to join the team at Our Development Farm, we are currently expanding Exceptional facilities at Long Lane and require an enthusiastic individual to help us achieve the Farms potential.
The role of Development Farm GFW
You will be able to adapt between daily routines whilst maintaining the highest standards. Daily routines include milk feeding/bedding/feeding concentrates and Health checking. Previous Livestock and Farm machinery experience essential for the role, training will of course be provided.
Long Lane Development farm is fast becoming a top industry recognised research facility collaborating with feed and pharmaceutical industry leaders to trial products in a commercial environment, of course this makes for a varied and interesting working environment.
Responsibilities
Milk feeding.
Health checking.
Operating a telehandler to feed/dispense bedding.
Vaccinating.
Weighing cattle.
Assisting the Vet on routine Visits.
